Hey folks,

I am using the last updated version of Indesign. I begin to use Share for review panel in my works. Some of my works have bugs inside but I couldnt understand why. When I click on some reviews, on some of random reviews Indesign crashes and I lost time, energy and editor's getting mad because of this. I got an error prompted message that *bla bla work maybe damaged. do you want to open it bla bla bla... I tried to save as another doc, didn't work. I tried to save as IDML and open it up again, didn't work. It crashes especially on some reviews. When I click on a spesific review it crashes. And I am getting negative comments about this feature and my team recommends not to use "Share for Review" option. But it is a very useful tool I think. Isn't it? Do any of you have any idea about it?

What's the exact version number?

What's your OS and version number?

Maybe updating in the middle of a project is not wise - I certainly wouldn't  - was there something in an update you required? Or did it just update?

You can turn off auto updating.

Maybe rolling back to the last working version would be better?

Before that - have you tried

Try resetting your preferences:

Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.
