InDesign 2024 has Suddenly Stopped Opening

Tonight my InDesign 2024 has completely stopped opening. I click on the icon to open the software, the small open screen pops as the software begins to load and then POOF... it crashes. I have NO idea why it has started doing this but it is very concerning for I have a project that I cannot access and work on. What on earth is going on? I have tried rebooting my computer. At a complete loss.

If you're on macOS Ventura then update to the latest version of Ventura (13.6.x), just don't upgrade to macOS 14 Sonoma. Otherwise, follow the directions posted by Steve.
