I've been searching these discussions for the workaround since ADPDF9.PPD doesn't work anymore, nor is there an Adobe PDF Printer option. I have my spreads set up and am using the Print Booklet command. But the options to set the output to 11x17 are grayed out. The Printer is a Postscript File, and the PPD is Device Independent. The resulting output is half the spread (8.5 x 11) as a Postscript file, which converts to PDF when clicked on but is useless.
I'm on a deadline to create 5 translated booklets! And I don't want to manually do the printer spreads. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @tomeegee , The PPD still works for me, this is from CC2024 on Ventura:
Is there a reason the printer is not handling the imposition, or are you the printer?

Here it is:
Is there a reason your printer isn’t handling the imposition? Any decent printer should be imposing at output when the press and bindery specs are known.

Thanks @rob day Your post made me search deeper. Most links to that PPD are in an archive that leads to that dead page. But I finally found a non stuffed on, created the PPDs folder in InDesign Presets, and voila! You were right, it still works. Thanks for the push.

Hi @spinyol,
Glad to see you're following up!
To locate the PPD, @rob day shared a link earlier where it can be found. Here's the Dropbox link to download the AdobePDF9.0 PPD file:
https://adobe.ly/4fip5jv...
Once downloaded, you can create a PPDs folder within your InDesign Presets directory and place the file there. That should resolve the issue of getting the proper setup for your print booklet workflow.
Let me know if you need any more help!
Best,
