INDESIGN 2024 very slow

to work well and without slowing down the construction of a voluminous project with images and hyperlinks on INDESIGN 2024 what exactly do I need on my PC

What version of OS? What RAM, hard drive, etc.?

32 GB of RAM and Processor with 3,7 GHZ and 12 CPUS its good ??

I came here in hope of finding a solution to this same issue. For me everything is lagged, the Type Tool, selecting a frame, moving a palette, displaying a font list, opening a selecting a menu item. I find it almost unusable. 

I have tried everything, changing preferences in Display performance, File Handling, Interface, I've even removed half my paragraph styles, GPU, CPU, Nothing seems to help.
It should not take me half an hour to adjust the leading on a single paragraph of a four page document. I have also found errors introduced into my content due to delayed key responses.

I am using a Mac, Sonoma 14.3.1

If a document is not behaving well then try 

File>Export 

Choose IDML

Open the IDML in InDesign
Save the file as a new InDesign file with a new name
See if the issue persists.

Try resetting your preferences:

Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

This worked for me. InDesign was showing the wheel of death everytime I clicked something. Hopefully it works for you. Good luck!
