InDesign 2024 won't open any document, new or old.

I upgraded to InDesign 2024 last night, and now I can't open any documents.

If I go through the motions of creating a new document and then click "OK", nothing happens.

When I click on a "Recent" document, nothing happens.

When I click on anything in the "Start a new file fast" box, nothing happens.

When I click on "New file", nothing happens.

When I click on "Open", navigate to a file, and click on it, it doesn't open but is added to the "Recent" documents list.

 

What could be going on? Thanks!

    I can't open it either. Is there a solution？

      Sounds similar to the Ventura bug that was fixed with 13.5. What operating system are you running?

          Hi,

          I just had the same problem,
          So I tried the "https://helpx.adobe.com/fr/indesign/kb/crash-on-launch.html#DLL" page,
          with the section " if adobe crash at the opening", with erasing Caches and preferences files, than reinstalling inDesing.

          I did it just now, and so far, it's working.
          It may be a clue if your problem is still going

            This might be due to the new "save to cloud" feature.

            Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.
