Hello, I've just reset my InDesign preferences (in case that was the source of my problem) but that did not change anything.

Every time I go in "edit > shortcuts", InDesign immediatly stop to respond and I have to force-quit it....

Im on Mac OS Sequoia (and i've just upgrade my OS a few days ago, maybe it's because of this?)

Anyone having the same issue ?

Hi @tristang35192489,

Thanks for the info!

I'll wait for your update after testing the suggestions.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

Abhishek

Safe mode did not change anything to the issue, but after creating a new admin user i've been able to open the keybinds. So it gave me the idea to just uninstall+reinstall InDesign (from my current user account) and the bug is gone !
Thanks for your help!

Hi @tristang35192489,

Could you confirm if this hang/freeze happens with all documents or just a particular one? Also, does InDesign results in a crash in this scenario, and do you see the Adobe crash reporter dialog box pop up?

Since you recently updated to macOS Sequoia, I’d suggest starting by testing the issue in Safe Mode to help isolate any third-party services that might be interfering: https://adobe.ly/3XY2CCr

Also, please try testing it in a new admin user account: https://adobe.ly/4cDoSYn

Let me know how it goes.

Abhishek

Hi ! Thanks for the quick reply.
It happens with the whole app, not a particular document. InDesign does not seem to crash, it's frozen and the app does not respond anymore. I'll give a try to the 2 options you gave me and will give feedback here later !
