Indesign 2025 cursor issue

Hi all,

Need help, my cursor is not on the object i am trying to move (Transform) its about 4-5 inches away when i select it. i have tried to replicate this in an image but when i screen grab my cursor disapears (imagine the makeshift triangle is my cursor).

This may be related to a late January / early February Windows 11 patch on version 24H2.

The solution is to remove/rollback that patch (in Windows Update).

Some suggest going through the Repair Windows procedure.
