InDesign 2026 not detecting my NVIDA GPU

Explorer ,
Dec 22, 2025 Dec 22, 2025

So here're the Specs

Laptop - MSI WS75-9TK, windows 11 25H2

CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (2.60 GHz),  32Gb Ram

GPU (1) - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (shared)

GPU (2) - NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000, 6Gb VRam, Current Drivers 581.80

Monitors x 2 27" 4K - U27B3AF (3840 × 2160, 60.00 Hz)

1) on HDMI

2) on DisplayPort 2 (thunderbolt)

Laptop Monitor - (1920 x 1080, 144 Hz)

SSD x 2, 1Tb (eash)

So, What doesn't InDesign like about my setup? Yet, illustrator 2026, Photoshop 2026, LrC etc are good with it.

Hi BrBarry_SDB

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers using this link: https://adobe.ly/3MMLQn2?

Moreover, please provide the details of msinfo32 file. By following the command below:

Run the command window- Type "msinfo32" in the Start menu and left-click OK- While viewing the Microsoft System Information summary, go to File, then choose Save (Please do not use Export)- Save your MSINFO32 report as "msinfo32.nfo" on your desktop to easily locate it after. It can take up to a minute to generate a report.

Additionally, please provide the IDSniffer file available at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\Version 20.0\en_US\Caches\GPULog\IDSniffer.

Please upload the file to a shared location, such as Dropbox or via a DM to Abhishek Rao

We will be happy to help you further.

Thanks,

Harshika
