InDesign and Acrobat 2 sided prints flip short edge.

Printing to a Ricoh MFD.

Have tried older drivers and other compatible drivers.

Have tried generic PS drivers.

2 sided printing flips on the short edge. Select long edge, still prints short edge flip. Changing the portrait/landscape is not a solution since it rotates the page design off the page. Acrobate ALSO has this issue.

I tried on a fresh OS install and it is the same story.

Printing from the Preview.app or Chrome or other software is correct. ONLY Adobe software has this issue currently. It started about 2 weeks ago.

Using a widows pc the latest version prints just fine.

So I found the solution. The files in question were created on older versions of InDesign. Not that old, but likey several updates ago. I copied/pasted all the items into a new docutment and the problem went away. Whatever was in that old file was the issue. However, it didn't transmit to the new file with copy/paste. So it must have been some meta data in the header/footer of the file container.
