Indesign and typekit workflows without CC subscription

Question.

I have team mates that have indesign CC 2017. they are not on the subscription model. My company just purchases single editions. as in they have to manually install CC2017 with IT. however more and more we are getting files that use fonts via TYPEKIT. Can we jus create adobe ID and download the download manager app for desktop and have access to tykepit fonts without been a paid subscription service user?

Thanks

No. Access to Typeset is tied to a subscription —CC, a stand-alone app or a stand-alone Typekit subscription. It is not available with just a free Adobe ID.

    Hi Jonathan:

When I google using Typekit without a CC subscription, I see a few references to a stand-alone Typekit subscription. I get the impression that it may be available (the first link has a June 2018 date), but you will have to reach out to support@typekit.com to confirm. I can't find a link to subscribe online.

Typekit is available as a standalone subscription or as part of Adobe Creative Cloud.

If you want to cancel a Creative Cloud subscription but keep using fonts from Typekit, contact our support team (support@typekit.com) to convert to a standalone Typekit subscription.

I believe that is correct, that you can get just a Typekit subscription. It's aimed a output bureaux.

    CC2017 without subscription = pirate.

And single edition subscription CC2017 have it access to TypeKit
