some documents in my book need to inherit footer variable from the preceeding.

Text Variables > Define > Load... is the only way I know of. 

I'm not sure, but if the Text Variable was contained within a textframe that you then used Edit > Place and Link, it might update. You would have to test me on that idea to see whether it works.

I'm sure I didnt explain correctly cause of my poor english.

I've a book (tec manual) splitted in some indd doc.

within the <footer> variable there is text from section paragraph style.
I expect the indd book manage inheritance from doc to doc...
