InDesign CC 17.3 Update All Links not working

Hello Everyone : )

I just began a new job – I am working on a brand new Mac Studio with latest Adobe CC version of InDesign.

I am having a very time consuming issue of my links not updating or linking properly.  I tried to relink all of my links to my Links Folder – did not work in updating them. I tried Restarting. I tried resaving my Links. I tried Update All for each reoccurring Link....the only thing that seems to work is updating each link individually...and as this is a catalog project with thousands of links...this will be very time consuming.  Any ideas for fixing this issue?

(I am also hoping to work on my new job's OneDrive cloud – but I am working off of my Desktop at the moment to try to eliminate that variable as I solve this immediate problem).

Any ideas?

Thank You!

Rachael

Sounds like either a specific document issue or something screwy with InDesign itself.

If a document is not behaving well then try

    File>Export

    Choose IDML

    Open the IDML in InDesign
Save the file as a new InDesign file with a new name
    See if the issue persists.

    ---

    Try resetting your preferences:
The easiest way to reset everything is to delete the InDesign preferences: as soon as InDesign starts to boot hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl (and Apple/Cmd if working on a Macintosh). A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

Reinstalling rarely fixes everything - you can do a complete reinstall using the

    ----

Rollback to a previous InDeisgn version
