InDesign CC 2017 crashes when adding hyperlinks

I use InDesign CC 2017 on macOS Sierra with the latest updates.

After adding about 45 hyperlinks InDesign crashes when I add a new url in the hyperlinks menu.

I already trashed my InDesign preferences and made a new document. It keeps crashing after adding 25+ hyperlinks.

Does anyone know what I can do to avoid this problem?

I am having the same issue! Worked fined with the previous version of InDesign and now it's really a mess.

Can I use this for indesign 2015 on PC? Is there a patch for that? The moment I open the panel, it crashes.

Hey Monica,

thanks for this fix! I had crashes on opening the hyperlinks panel or making new links containing text like "§ 8.1" or ":". After running the copyPlugin-script it works fine. (Version 2017.0, Build 12.0.0.81)

I'm having this same problem with the hyperlinks. After following the steps on the troubleshooting page InDesign does not open at all.
