Indesign CC 2019 slows down as I zoom in

Im currently running the latest version of indesign cc 2019.
Here are my hardware specs:

The problem I am having is not something I find any solution for on google, additionally I had the same problem on an older MacBook (2012 model)

The problem is simple, basically the more I zoom into a layout the more indesign seems to slow down becoming entirely unusable when I'm zoomed into the maximum amount. This only seems to happen when I'm zooming into vector graphics, not copy, or bitmap, only vector so far. It is not a big deal but becomes very problematic when I'm trying align branding graphics accurately.

If anyone else has this problem or a solution I would greatly appreciate it as I cant find anything on it.
