Hi,
I cannot figure out why my control bar is obscured by half. This happens when positioned at the top or bottom. I suspect it has something to do with scaling but cannot resolve the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I still experience the same issue and it is driving me nuts.
Notes on setup: I am using a Dell XPS 13 with two monitors. It occurs on the native monitor (13") of the laptop and the external HP 22".
PC Details:
Intel(R) Core (TIM) i5-7200 CPU @ 2.5Ghz
Intel(R) HD Graphics 620
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Go to your Workspace popup menu to the far right side of the Control panel and choose Reset Workspace near the bottom of the menu.

Bear with me here--I do not see what you are referring to. Under the Window dropdown, in Workspace is a Reset Advanced. Tried that with no change..

Did you go all the way down to "Reset" in the menu or just recheck "Advanced?"
You could move the Control panel manually from its left hand side. Drag it down or up until you get an insert highlight to reconnect it to your workspace. See screenshot below.

Yes, I clicked reset. And dragging it in and out of the workspace does not resolve it. When I pop it back in by dragging it, or clicking "Dock at top" or "dock at bottom" from the dropdown menu (|||) on the control bar it remains half obscured.

Hi,
In addition to what Jeff has suggested can you also let us know what happens when...
1. You use a single monitor?
2. After cleaning your cache AND preference settings? Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

Remains an issue with single monitor and I used the following preference settings reset method: "... IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences."

Hi,
In this link, there are two methods Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences. Please try the other one. Also, please clean the cache as well.

I had Adobe screen sharing and they couldn't determine what was wrong. I'm pretty close to just re-installing windows considering the manifold issues I am experiencing with Adobe on Windows 10...
