indesign crach when exporting to PDF

Hello everyone,
I try to export an INDD file to PDF, and the software crashes.
Before I was able to export, but now I changed something in the file, and it crashes when I touch the first box in the thread.
Even when exporting to IDML, the software crashes.
I would appreciate your assistance.

Tell us more about your system: Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using.

Is this one file it happens to or all InDesign files. If one file, there could be corruption in the file: Save the file as an IDML file (File > Save As > InDesign CS4 or Later [IDML]. Then reopen the IDML to see if it fixes the problem.

It it happens with all files, then try restoring your preferences and caches. Here's how:

Not sure what you mean by "touch" the first box (text frame?). Do you mean selecting the frame or trying to edit the text?

If you can't even export to IDML without a crash, reset your InDesign preferences. Follow the instructions in Steve's post. Let us know what happens.
