Hello, can anyone help me please!
My InDesign keep crashing without warning every couple of minutes making it impossible to get any work done.
It will crash regardless of if there is a file open or not and it is happening with ALL files. If I try to open InDesign in recovery mode it will open the file but as soon as I press any key it will freeze and then a pop-up asks if I want to send a crash report.
This has been happening for over a year - it started off as once a day, then a few times, now in the space of 5 minutes it can crash 5 or 6 times!
I am using CC on Windows and InDesign is always kept up-to-date.
Is anyone able to help me figure out what the problem is please?

Hi,
Sorry to hear about this.
Can you share the error messages you are getting, can you also confirm the amount free space and resources (RAM...) you have on your computer and which version of Windows you are running?
Have you called Adobe Tech Support about this?

Hi Eric and Bob
The ID version is 14.0.2
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.81GHz
RAM 16264MB
Free space 154135MB
Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.16299
I tried calling Adobe and was told that support was not offered for Creative Cloud. The pop-up just says that ID has crashed and asks if I want to send a crash report to Adobe, I usually do this every time.

Please submit the crash report to us. (Guidelines to submit crash are available at Submit a crash report for InDesign )
Also, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :
• Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.
• Does trashing InDesign Preferences and Cache help resolve the issue? Please take a backup of the same before trashing them.
