I am still working in my version of CS2. But my new computer can't run that anymore, so I finaly have to update to a new version.
Is it possible to open documents made in CS2 in the newest version of InDesign?
Exporting / importing is not a option as far I can find.
Thanks for the help. Was my mistake. I opened a few documents, and all of that documents had a picture as background. That picture contained all the text. So changing text wasn't possible because there was no text.
I made a fres document in CSS2 and can change everything in CSS2023.
Thanks again for the very fast reply.

InDesign 2022 can open any older InDesign file dating back to InDesign 1.0 in 1999. If it won't open you have other problems going on.

Thank you. Then I upgrade to Indesign 2022 instead of Affinity Publisher.

I finally installed the newest InDesign and can open older documents form version CSS2.
But everything is locked, I can't change anything.
So Opening an old file is only Opening, thats it? No conversion, no changing of text, etc.?

Check the Layers panel (if necessary, click the triangle to the left of a layer) to see if you have a lock symbol on objects, you can click to unlock them.
Check the Master Pages to see if the objects are on a Master Page instead of a document page.

There is not so much to learn, working with Pagemaker en Indesign a long time. Very easy tot use.

If Steve's suggestion doesn't help, if you want to post one of those files, someone can have a look.
