Hello,
An InDesign document damaged and when open it, Adobe InDesign closed. Any idea to fix it? Why Adobe never provide any tool to fix damaged documents?
Thank you.
There are multiple factors both internal and external to InDesign application that can lead to document corruption. However, I can take a look and see if the file can be repaired. Please email your InDesign file to corrupt_indesign_docs@adobe.com and I will take a look at the document.
If the file is larger than 10 Mb, you can zip (and password protect) the file and upload to Creative Cloud account (or Dropbox) and send us the document link.

InDesign documents are more complex than other formats like a bitmapped image, for example. They are a database.
If you start to see corruption in a file, you can save it as IDML to have it recreated from scratch. It sounds like you waited too long.
You might try this recovery service (not free if it works):
Of course, the best method is to use backups. If you're using a service like Dropbox, it will save versions you can revert to.

No. 1: try opening the file as a copy - sometimes it helps.
Here's some tools for restoring corrupted InDesign documents (may or may not work, no guarantees):

Alternatively, you could try email your InDesign file to corrupt_indesign_docs@adobe.com and possibly they will be able to help.
If the file is larger than 10 Mb, you can zip (and password protect) the file and upload to Creative Cloud account (or Dropbox) and send them a link to the document.
Also you may find some ideas to try in this thread.
