Hello Muboldi,
Which version of InDesign are you using? Does the issue occur with a specific file, or does it affect all files, including newly created documents? Also, where are the affected files stored - on a local drive, external drive, remote location, or cloud? If possible, please share a screen recording to help me better understand the issue.
In the meantime, let's try isolating the issue step by step. First, test it by booting your Mac in Safe Mode to check if any third-party applications are causing conflicts. If the issue persists, try creating and testing under a new local admin user profile. You can refer to this guide for assistance: https://adobe.ly/416Hk69;
Let me know your findings.

Dear
Indesign is 20.1.0.71, the problem is with all Indesign files also new created ones, all file are locally on internal storage.
I already try to test it in safe mode and nothinks change and I already format the disk and reinstall Mac OSX + Indesign ina Mac OSC fresh copy and non change, problem still remain.
In the same environment (MacOSX + Same Indd version) but on a different Mac hardware (Chip Mac Apple M2 on a MacBook Air) the problem does not exist.
Problem decription:
new document in Indesign
I create a text box
I click away to de-select the newly created box
I click on the newly created text box and Indesign does not show me that the box is selected (no small corners black square) at the moment I move the mouse pointer out the box Indesig show me the black squares indicating me the beox is selected.
I am completly shure the element is selected while clicking on it becouse after selecting I presse the delete key the element is deleted.
If I select the item drawing a rectangular selection it works normally.

It appears that you describe a bug that was introduced in InDesign 20.1. First, InDesign 20.2 has just been released, although it's not available in all countries yet. I don't know if it fixes the issue but it might. If it's not available to you yet, try to revert to InDesign 20.0.1 (CC app > InDesign > Other Versions menu).

Hi @Muboldi,
Thanks for the update! As the expert mentioned, we had a bug reported by users for version 20.1 when being used with external monitor. The good news is that InDesign 20.2 has now fully rolled out and should be available for you. Test the issue in the latest version and update?
If the problem continues in 20.2, let me know, and we will investigate further. Looking forward to your update!

Hi Muboldi,
Thank you for checking the issue on the latest version. It looks like you're experiencing a different issue than the issue mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4j5zdOQ.
Would you mind creating a short video about the issue to help us understand it better? As you mentioned, it's happening on your macOS 15.3.1 Mac Studio M1 machine and not on the other. I am assuming that it might be conflicting with any other app.
Does the issue happen with any other Adobe apps?
We will be happy to investigate further.
Thanks,
Harshika
