InDesign Export Failure – Error on Page 1 Spread (File Attached)

Hi Adobe Support,

I'm unable to export my InDesign file to PDF. I receive the following error:

"Possible cause of failure is present on spread with page number '1'."

I’ve tried removing content from Page 1, checking for missing fonts/links, exporting to IDML, and rebuilding the spread, but the issue persists.

The source .indd file is attached for your review. Please help identify the root cause and guide me to resolve it.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please confirm the version of InDesign you're using and the details of your operating system?

Also, could you let us know where the file is currently stored, on your local drive, an external drive, a remote server, or cloud storage? If it's not stored locally, I'd recommend saving a copy directly to your local drive and then trying to export again, just to rule out any file access issues.

I couldn't see any attachment with your post. Could you please reattach the InDesign file so we can take a closer look? And if possible, share a screenshot of your export window.

One thing you can also try in the meantime is selecting all the objects on Page 1, copying them, and pasting them into a new document to test if the export still fails.

It exports fine for me - but I don't have your links - so there might be a problem with one of your linked files - please try to re-save them.

Also, the blue stripes with white text - they are not in the same place on the pages. And boxes under them have different heights. So if you quickly scroll between pages - it doesn't look "right" - there is no "consistency".

Can you try exporting each page separately?

Even on trying to publish by page wise also its causing issue..

Can you create a Package - using File -> Package - of your document - with links - into a new folder?

This step will show us if there are any problems with the missing links. 

Then, if you still have a problem - can you ZIP this folder, upload it somewhere online - DropBox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. - and share the link to it with me privately? Please click my nickname.
