InDesign File Link Preservation During Data Migration to SharePoint

New Here ,
Jan 25, 2024 Jan 25, 2024

I am reaching out with a concern related to InDesign files as my company undergoes a migration process from our server to SharePoint. Given the intricate linking of files in InDesign, I am worried about potential issues with missing links during this transition.

Is there a recommended solution or script available that can aid in seamlessly migrating InDesign files and their associated linked assets to a new server location, such as SharePoint? I want to ensure that the quality and integrity of the linked elements remain intact throughout this process.

Thank you for your time and support.

Perhaps one solution would be to test the new workflow before committing to a massive migration! Seems strange they are committed to this and it hasn't really been said if it's been tested or not.
