InDesign Files Not Opening

Hello,

I am only able to open 2-3 InDesign documents and then any further files that I try to open up after that I am unable to open unless I do a force quit or restart. This only started happening after the most recent InDesign 15.1.1 update. Any clues as to why this would be happening? Reinstalled ID and restarted several times. Thanks in advance for any help.
