Question

InDesign génère des fichiers exportés anormalement lourds

Bonjour !

Hi @Alban5023:

We still don't know which version of InDesign you are using—please let us know. Since this is a 2-part question, let's get the InDesign file size resolved first. Then we can look at the Acrobat file size.

Here are the InDesign file size tips in a single list:

  • Just a simple File > Save As can reduce the size of an InDesign .indd file.
  • A second option is to save as .idml, and then save the .idml file back to an .indd file.
  • Be sure to link graphics (use File > Place and don't paste or embed them) and delete any content that may be hanging out on the pasteboard.

Also, what is the actual and effective ppi of the "image optimisée"—you can see this information in Windows > Links.

Barb,

I'm using InDesign 16.4
The user "philosophie" share the same problem with InDesign 17.01

I do not have size or weight problem with my InDesign files. It's just the PDF file wich is insanely too heavy.

What version of InDesign? Are you exporting to PDF? If so, what export setting are you using?

Or are you talking about the native .indd and .psd files? If native .indd files, try saving as using a new name. You might also try saving the .indd files as .idml files. Then resave as an .indd file.

Hello barb, thanks for your support.

When I export a .indd file to PDF, my file is soooooo heavy. It's insane.
My file .indd is already heavy, 120 Mo for a A6 (no shadows or transparency...)

I do not understand.

With which export settings?

Avec quels paramètres d'export ?

Start by “saving it as”, the file size will reduce.

Commence par faire un « enregistrer sous », la taille du fichier va diminuer.
