Indesign GA Integration not working

Question

I've tried connecting my company sitewide GA measurement ID to the online document but failed to track it. Here's the breakdown:

The GA measurement ID stream URL is our website instead of https://indd.adobe.com/
The document published is embedded on a landing page within our site

What's the solution for this?

And does GA still track even if the document is embedded?

I don't think there are many people using Google Analytics with Publish Online so it may be slow getting a response.
