Indesign hanging

HI, 

I'm working with illustrations from my CC library (created in Illustrator) in Indesign and it is so slow and keeps hanging. I thought adding my assets to the CC library would cut out me having to export them - is there something I can do to stop this?

As a note I have used alot of 'draw inside' grunge brushes - which seems to slow things up too.
