Please, when exporting Interactive PDF from Mac iOS, the accentuation crashes in the Value field.
There are a few things we would like to take into consideration:
- This issue only appears in the Value fields. The Description field is fine.
- We have already changed the language from Mac and the Indesign tool to French-Canadian and it still doesn´t work.
- We placed the following values in the field without any result: "é" and "é".
- The PDF exported from Windows OS doesn´t corrupt the accentuated characters, so we use it to create the fillable PDF. However, during the validation, the Adobe Accessibility tool seems to crash the field even if it is created from Windows.
- The tools is updated.
Thank you!

Hello Rishabh,
Please,
We get the file ready from the client and our task is to apply the French text.
1 - The button "Value" must display the text "Américain"
2 - We export an interactive PDF from Mac iOS
3 - The Export Value crashes the "é" character. However, after several texts, we discovered that this field doesn´t accept accentuation at all. At least if it was created by iOS.
Thank you for your reply!

Why not leave out the accent character in favor of a plain e character? Code can sometimes show a bias for English language. Another question: is the font an OpenType font? I hope so.

We have already suggested disregard the accentuation in this field, but the client didn´t accepted it. The font is Bermina Sans, an Open Type Adobe font.
Thank you Mike.

Bernino Sans Regular does show an accented e in position U+00E9.
If I am understanding you correctly, this is a problem on the mac version of Acrobat Pro?

Yes! When we create the interactive PDF from Windows, the characters are display properly.
We tried the "U+00E9" unicode but it also crashed.
Thank you Mike!
