InDesign interactivo

InDesign's interactive functions were originally designed to export Flash files in SWF format.
They have remained despite the death of this format, some work in HTML/ePUB, some (few) work in PDF, but not all work in all export formats.

In PDF, the real engine of interactivity is JavaScript, which can't be added with InDesign, for which you need Acrobat Pro.

InDesign, Acrobat Pro and PDF are powerful tools for creating interactive documents.
The drawback is that the universality of PDF means that many low-end software programs can open this type of document without supporting all its features, starting with the default readers used on Mac (Preview) and Windows (Edge).
The only consumer programs that fully support PDF are Acrobat Reader and Foxit Reader, so you need to be careful about the conditions under which you distribute your interactive documents.
There are tricks you can use to warn users, but nothing can force them to install and use one of the two above-mentioned programs.

PDF is the worst possible format for interactivity. For browsers, you're best off using Adobe's Publish Online but that will restrict you to using Adobe's servers. You can try fixed layout epub but that will be very dependent on the reader app you use. There are not a lot of good choices here.

If you have the budget for it, you can try in5 which is the best bet from InDesign...or you can a tool that is meant for this kind of thing, Powerpoint or Keynote.

Saludos!
