InDesign is extremely slow and keeps showing spinning wheel

My InDesign has been running extremely slow and keeps showing the spinning wheel while working on files, since the last update of InDesign(late November), I am running this on my iMac with MacOS 14.7.2. Any ideas or recommendations to troubleshoot this, please. Is anyone else also having these issues? Would appreciate any thoughts and suggestions please.

If you have the Magnet App installed try disabling it.

The best advice so far that I've seen is to go back to the previous version of InDesign until another update or two comes out.
