Both today & yesterday Indesign has been crashing for me. It doesn't help creating a new document as that one keeps freezing too and I know it's not my computer causing it as I checked the utility disk. I really hope this bug is fixed soon because I need Indesign for work.
Which version? Updated recently?
Try trashing preferences:
The latest version and even tried uninstalling/reinstalling Indesign, and it still isn't working properly.
Have you read it in full?
There is a "nuclear option" :
Reset with the nuclear option (4)
If that does not help either, uninstall the application using the CC Cleaner tool and reinstall from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
Another possibility is a bad font, or missing system font.
