Indesign keeps crashing on macOS Montery

Indesign 17.1 crashes all the time when trying to update links. After this crash it even crashes and freezes when opening the document.

Tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling. Installing 17.01. Deleting files in library, restarting computer...

I used to have creative cloud for individuals. I recently change to creative cloud for teams and that's when the problems started. My college does not have these problems. Getting desperate and concluded moving to teams has been a complete waist of money. Work is piling up and nothing I can do.

Are you working in a cloud services folder such as Dropbox or Onedrive? If so, make sure that all smart sync features are turned off and all files are fully synced and available locally.

THanks for your advise.

The documents are in the creative cloud files folder. I have also tried to move the documents to my desktop, but Indesign still crashes all the time.
