Hi,
I always have this problem in Indesign where it appears that the last sentence has a larger leading size than the rest of the rows of text. In this picture, you can see that the spacing in the last sentence (where the red mark is) appears bigger than the previous lines. How can you fix this? I never know why it does this or what to do when the pronblem occurs.
Show hidden characters and select final para marker. Set leading.
To make it permanent:
In Preferences set 'Applyleading to entire paragraphs'
To fix, either as Ian_Blog suggests change the preference to Apply Leading to Entire Paragraphs, or make sure that when you change the leading value, the entire paragraph is selected by clicking 4 times in the paragraph. This also includes the hidden paragraph mark in the selection. Personally, I prefer not to change the preference because there are times, admittedly rare, when you want to apply different leading amounts within a paragraph. Your example, because it mixes types of different sizes

Your example, because it mixes types of different sizes, might be a case in point, where you want to set the leading optically.
I also recommend working with your hidden characters shown (Type>Shown Hidden Characters) and avoiding Auto Leading as ways to avoid the problem in the first place.
