Hi,
Today the mouse movement in InDesign (20.1) is acting very strange. All the text, object is jumping to the left when I want to move it. I tried to rebote the computer and remove the preferences to default. Nothing helps. My mouse on Photoshop and Illustator is working fine. Even on the beta version of InDesign the mouse behaviour has the same strange jumps. Can someone help me fix this problem?
Hi everyone,
My problem is solved. My InDesign is working as it should be. I think that Atobe has patch this problem. Thanks everyone for your comments and advice!

Hello meme_8888,
Thanks for reaching out! Would you mind sharing the details of your OS? Also, when did the issue start happening? Is it happening with all your files or just one specific file, including new ones? Did you recently install any third-party plugins or software that might have caused this issue?
It would be great if you could test it in Safe Mode and let me know if that makes a difference.
Reference:
- Windows: How to Start Your PC in Safe Mode
- macOS: Start in Safe Mode on macOS
Also, if possible, could you share a quick screen recording to show the issue? It’ll really help us understand what’s going on.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Hi Abhishek,
Thanks for the answer. I'm working on Windows 11 Pro, 24H2. This problem starts this Monday 17-02-2025. Last time I work with my InDesign is on Thursday afternoon 13-02-2025. I've the last Windows update 13-02-2025 KB5051987. I didn't have any installation of third-party plugins of software in between this time.
I tested it in diffent files, but the same problem. I've used the older version of InDesign and the Beta version, also the same result. I can't send a video, for I don't have a link to the video, but I can sent it with WeTranser?
This is what I also have done:
I've uninstall the Window update KB5050094. Unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem. I notice the other problem of the issue is the almost the same as my problem:
When I move the ID to my smaller monitor, it works properly. But when I move back, the objects and text are jumping to the left. When I follow the advice to make the resolution the same as my smaller monitor, it still jump, but less extreem.
Is this problem cause by Windows or by InDesign? Because I don't have the same problem with Photoshop or Illustrator. And do you know if Adobe or Windows is going to fix this problem? And is someone reporting this issue to both of them?

A recent Windows 11 patch update KB5050094 is causing this problem. Go to Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Update and find just the update KB5050094 and uninstall it.
