Hi,
I've just been working on a catalogue and when I tried to export the final version, certain sections from the indesign pages are showing blank. I can't even see any objects in Preview mode but only some objects in Normal mode.
Here is a screenshot of what I am getting.

Looks like they're either set to non-printing or are on a non-printing layer. Look in the layers panel (non printing layers are in italic) and/or the attributes panel.

Hi,
Thank you for the quick respone.
The layers panel are showing all the layers and non in italic.
Also, when I double click on the page from the pages panel, its showing a tiny page.

What about the attributes panel?
Post the file in a dropbox folder and give us a link. One of us will take a look.

The file has some kind of corruption in it. The good news is that saving as IDML and opening that seems to have cleared it out.
Do a file save as and choose IDML. It might take a minute and it’s a background task. Close the file once the IDML is done and then open the IDML. Continue working on that.

This is helpful. I saved as IDML and opened the file - while the original issue got resolved, now I have large gaps in my pages and the images and text are just way off the page. It is almost like they were moved and that has created gaps in my pages. See image below.
Tried retrieving older versions and the same thing is happening. I am happy to send the file via DropBox if someone is willing to help. I have a deadline early next week and need to get this fixed. This is only happening on a stretch of 10 pages in a 190 page doc.
Thanks everyone!

Two possibilities that come to mind are:
1) your objects might be set to a non-printing attribute. This would also account for their not showing up in Preview mode.
or
2) your document might have developed some minor corruption. If this is the case, if might be fixed by exporting an IDML, and working with that file.

Hi Siraj Asfahani,
could you make your original InDesign document available again with Dropbox?
I mean the zip file you had linked to. I'd like to look into it. Maybe there is another way to repair the damaged document.
EDITED:
Sorry. Got confused with the original poster's zip-file from 2017.
Thanks,

Absolutely! I tried packaging the file to send a zip but it won't let me do that and got an error message "indesign can not copy necessary file links". I did however upload the indesign file to Drop Box without packaging and not sure if that is helpful at all.

Hi Siraj Asfahani,
I was able to "repair" the document; don't know if all is repaired.
Added pairs of pages before the damaged spreads.
Moved the contents of the damaged spreads to the new spreads I added.
I did not copy/paste because some text frames are threaded from spread to spread.
Important:
To select the contents on a damaged spread I used a selection marquee, I drew a selection rectangle with the Selection tool.
Some screenshots of that process from my German InDesign 2022 on Windows 10:
In the layout windows I moved my selection of frames up to a good spread:
Also the contents of the next damaged spread:
Saved the document to a new name. Removed both damaged spreads. Saved again to a new name.
Walked on to the next damaged spreads.
Download that "fixed" version from my Dropbox account:
