Indesign not working after installation

Hi there,

Sorry about the crashing! I know that's really frustrating. I would request you to share a few more details along with the ones asked by @Willi Adelberger & @Test Screen Name:

• The exact version of macOS & InDesign (v17.0 or v17.0.1)
  [By looking at your wallpaper, it seems you are on macOS Monterey 12.0.1]
• Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, plugins, or web extensions installed recently.

Also, I would suggest you try the following steps and let us know how it goes:

• Try running the app in Safe Mode  (Mac) & Root account (Mac) and check if Indesign is running without getting crashed.

• Close all Adobe applications and manually reset InDesign preferences by renaming the folders from the following locations:
  ~/Library/Caches
  ~/Library/Preferences
  Rename Adobe InDesign and com.adobe.InDesign to Adobe InDesign.old and com.adobe.InDesign.old and
  launch InDesign from the Creative Cloud app

• If that doesn't help, uninstall the application using the CC Cleaner tool and reinstall from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

How did you install the programs?

• Did you install it from a backup or other installed version?
  That will never work fine.
• Did you install from an original Adobe installer, mostly provided by download? 
  That is the way to go.

Please give many more details. We need to know "does not work" - what errors do you get? Please be exact and include screen shots.
