Indesign October 2023 (19.0) bug - Screen blanks on selection

Hi

I have a big to report inthe new Indesign October 2023 (19.0)

When I make a selection (click and drag my mouse) the screen goes white until I let go of the mouse button.

Anyone else have this problem?

Only happened since recent update.

    Turn off the rulers or roll back to Ventura.

    Same problem here and it's been 4 months since you first reported this. I had to turn off GPU because it causes my indesign screen to turn completely gray. And now I get the joy of the flashing when rulers are on.

    Did you update to macOS 14.3? It fixed the issue for many users.

    Thanks for the heads up. For some reason my computer didn't tell me there was an update. Maybe a slow rollout. Going to try it now and hope for the best.

    We are sorry to hear you're having trouble. I am unable to reproduce the issue at my end on the Windows machine. Would you mind telling us the details of your operating system? It would be really helpful if you could share the screenshot or a short video of the issue.

    If so, we would request you please add your voice and upvote the request.

     

    Please also try the workaround suggested- please try working in GPU mode only.
