Hi guys,
I am creating a brochure in InDesign and I'm running into a weird problem. I've included two screenshots so you can see what I mean: one of how it's supposed to be (InDesign preview) and one where glitches appear (InVision preview and also visible when I make a test-print on my home printer).
I feel like it has something to do with overprint/transparency, but I'm not sure how I can get rid of this issue. Some additional info: the picture of the guy and the interiors are (still) in RGB, the dark blue and the yellow are Pantone colors that I copied out of another designers' .EPS file and lastly: the yellow object has the 'multiply' effect on it so the underlying picture is able to shine through.
The changing of colors may very well be from the InVision preview, but how can I prevent overlapping objects to turn black and white? As said above, this also happens when I make a test-print at home.
Thanks so much in advance,
Cheers,
Sophie
How are you moving the InDesign pages into InVision? Exporting as PDF?
There would be no reason to use a Pantone spot color for a screen project, so try setting the Pantone swatch Color Type to Process, or use one of the PANTONE+ Color Bridge libraries which are defined as Process.
