Indesign Package with colour fill bleed on all sides?

Hi, I am trying to package a document that has some pages with a full colour background image. However, when I package, the document needs a 5mm bleed, which does not include this background colour (it is a PSD image imported into the bottom layer) is there a way to make this work please?

The file will be packaged exactly the way it is when you save it.

If it needs to be different, you’ll need to update the document and then package it.

If you have a document set up as facing pages and you want the bleed from one page to cross over onto the adjacent page when exported to a single a page PDF, there are a few ways to do this, including allowing the page to shuffle to convert a spread page to two singles, then extending the bleed.

If you have elements that are not getting packaged, your image might be outside the document bleed. For example, your document bleed is set to 0, and you have a image for bleed placed outside the page, it won't get packaged and the packaged InDesign file will show a missing link. The fix is to properly set your document bleed to 5mm, save and package.
