Indesign Presentation Mode Glitch

Since update, every time you exit presentation mode, indeisgn maximizes to fill the screen instead of returning to its former size like it used to do. This is annoying. Is this a setting? A glitch?

I am using InDesign 2022 (version 17.0) on a Mac and don't have this issue. What versions of InDesign and your Operating System are you using?

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & InDesign? Do you see this behavior while working on a specific document? Have you tried resetting preferences of the app? We'd also appreciate if you could share a small video of your workflow so that we can understand the issue better.

Mac Moneterey. And all up to date on Indesign as well. Whener I move into Presentation mode (shift +W) and then leave it, the Indesign window has maximized and is filling the screen.

Try turning off GPU Performance in your InDesign preferences.

I'm having the exact same issue. It's quite annoying indeed. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

Same problem here—glad to know it's not just me (more likely to get fixed). Issue just started with update to InDesign 17.2 running on Monterey 12.3.1

Every 20seconds you're going into presentation mode?

I've used InDesign for almost 20 years and I have entered presentation mode about 3 times. 

If it's that buggy for you then maybe you don't need presentation mode - but using Shift Tab will remove all panels temporarily and pressing again will bring them back.

Yes, working on billboards all day long, need nothing to disturb around, super super usefull, ...but I found a small fix since, because thats the camera notch which is causing this resizing issue.

There on option on each app (see screenshot), right click on the app, more infos, and tick the "adjust under notch" option.
