Indesign, problème d'affichage lent des blocs que je selectionne

Bonjour,

Depuis quelques temps j'ai une lenteur d'affichage des blocs que je selectionne dans indesign, de l'affichage en général 

par exemple lorsque je clic sur un bloc, les petits carrés pour redimensionner ne s'affiche qu'après qq secondes, ou lorsque je zoom avec la molette le zoom affiche bien les % en bas mais rien ne bouge avant qq secondes aussi.

je précise que je suis tout le temps en écrans déportés (2 écrans) et que j'ai décoché les performances GPU dans les préférences Indesign

je suis sur la dernière version de indd

mon Mac est un pro, M1 pro, avec 32 go de mémoire et je tourne sous macOS 15.3.2

Hi @corinne.rambaud,

 

When you say you are on the latest version, do you mean InDesign 20.2? You can check this under InDesign > Help > About InDesign. Also, could you test whether the issue persists without using external screens or if it happens when using only one screen with the primary display?

Does this slowness occur with a specific file or across all documents? Can you reproduce the issue in a newly created document, or does it only affect files saved in a specific location on your system drive?

Additionally, how are your external monitors connected, USB-C or HDMI? If possible, try switching the connection type to see if it makes a difference. I would also recommend testing InDesign in Safe Mode to check if any third-party apps are conflicting with it.

  1. je suis bien en 20.2
  2. j'ai le problème même sans écrans secondaires
  3. mes écrans secondaires sont connectés de différentes façons et j'ai le problème partout à la maison et au travail, hdmi ou usb
  4. j'ai testé en mode sans échec, c'est la même chose…

As a test, try to revert to InDesign 20.1 (Creative Cloud app > InDesign > Other Versions menu).

Hi @corinne.rambaud,  

 

Since Safe Mode didn’t help, could you try the suggestion from the expert and revert to InDesign 20.1 to see if it makes a difference? Also, while staying on 20.2, try changing your screen resolution and test if the issue persists. Let me know how it goes.

I appreciate the update! Just to confirm, you’re still on InDesign 20.1, right? Could you try changing your Mac’s screen resolution while keeping external screens disconnected and see if that makes any difference? If the issue persists, please share your full Mac specifications, especially the processor. If it’s an Intel-based Mac, try toggling "Automatic graphics switching" under System Preferences > Battery > Options. You can also refer to Set graphics performance on MacBook Pro - Apple Support for more details.
