InDesign: QR Code Generator producing thick lines

Community Beginner ,

Wondering if someone can assist with this problem. Our workplace has installed InDesign for me on a Windows based computer. The QR code generator works well for others in the office (Mac users). For me, it is producing thick lines and I cannot see how to adjust them. The QR code still works but it looks wonky ... more like a blob. How can I fix this?

Do you see the problem when you zoom in or print on a high resolution printer? If not, it is only a screen rendering problem.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You are brilliant. Thank you. Yes, screen rendering issue. Prints like a normal QR code. Spent way too much time on this. Really appreciate the help.
