InDesign QR-Code per Excel automatisieren?

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe eine Frage bzgl. der Erstellung eines QR-Codes in InDesign.

Aktuell arbeite ich daran, mehrere Visitenkarten zu erstellen. Da die Stückzahl sehr hoch sein wird, kommt für mich die Funktion "Data Merge" im Zusammenspiel mit Excel in Betracht. Auf der Visitenkarte wird sich außerdem ein QR-Code befinden, der die gleichen Informationen beinhaltet, wie auf dem Papier abgebildet ist. Das ist insofern praktisch, weil man die Infos entsprechend auch auf dem Smartphone hat. 

Im Moment finde ich unter "Objekt > QR-Code generieren > Art: Visitenkarte" nur die Möglichkeit, die Daten einzeln manuell einzutragen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Inhalte aus der Excel-Datei auch für den QR-Code zu verwenden bzw. gibt es auch hier die Funktion einer Automatisierung?

InDesign itself has very limited features for construction QR code data; while it will create almost any type of QR code needed, it must be provided with a flawless data content string. The best overall method is to use the "Plain Text" mode with a data string crafted to meet the end user needs, and not attempt to use any of the form-driven entry options.

It should be possible to get Excel to assemble formatted data strings from individual data fields, and that will give you the string to use for Data Merge creation of the codes.
