InDesign: "Backgroud Tasks" constantly spinning for "add font"

Doing a rather large book layout after being away fron InDesign for a while, and suddenly BACKGROUND TASKS is constantly spinning up in my menu panel.

When I click on the "spinner," it says "Adding Font - Roboto..." This seems to be perpetual, because it never stops spinning.

I think I remember a nifty shortcut to locate and change a font, but I'm not having luck - as I mentioned, I've been away for a while..

I apologize for the somewhat simple question (I used to handle this pretty simply) - - Is there a quick and efficient way to find this wayward font and eliminate it so TASKS can rest?

John,

What happens if you acquire that google font from google instead of fonts.adobe.com?

I don't know whether it's a Google Font and, frankly, I don't recall using anything like that in the whole publication..

I'm working to find an instance of that font on 300+ pages and having no luck (I'm a bit rusty at the shortcuts and "best routes," sorry to say.). I'm now trying to get efficient at finding instances of fonts.

Some additional info: When I do a "Find Font," the ROBOTO font in question does NOT appear in the "list of fonts used in this document" that I can choose from.

So, InDesign is churning endlessly to acquire a fint that is not in use.
