InDesign "cannot create new file, the file "..." is damaged (error code: 0)?

Every now and then I get this error when trying to save an open document I have been working on or create a new document. Who else is having this issue? and who else has been having this issue?

I was struggling with this for so long! It turned out that I was trying to save the file to a google drive folder I accidentally had no access to! When my boss checked and changed permission to permission to edit instead of permission to view, the error disappeared.

I'm having the same issues. Tried all of the options in the other forum and it keeps happening. Irregularly and with random files, but it's happening once or twice a day. I have to save down to IDML or have my coworkers try and open the last saved version. Sometimes it won't even let me save as an IDML or save with a different name. Generally I'm the only one with the issue, my coworkers can work with the same files in the same locations without any issues.

I'm running macOS High Sierra and ID 2018.

I've been having the same(ish) issue in the last two weeks. Mac OS Sierra, ID 2018. Can't open or save documents (or it wants to save as a new file). And it's leaving behind the temp file when I close a file. Quitting ID seems to clear things up. Strange behavior that raised my blood pressure a bit the other day!

Same here..... When I try to create a new file or open an existing file it says cannot create new file. Have to Quit InDesign and relaunch and then its fine for a couple more hours. Not the end of the world but kinda annoying
