Thanks for your patience and sorry you are experiencing this. I've checked the crash report you submitted and was able to locate it successfully. I can confirm that a bug has been logged for this issue, and the product team is actively working on a fix.

I'll follow up with the product team as well and will update you here as soon as I have more information or an update to share.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I understand how urgent this is for you.

Hi @Nur_Handi4973,

I wanted to share an update with you. I was able to reproduce the crash on my end using the file you shared, and the team has been actively investigating this behavior. It appears that the document itself is corrupted, which is contributing to the crash when opening the file and when using the Unhide Spreads option.

A fix for similar crash behavior is already available in newer builds of InDesign. Could you please install and test with the latest InDesign 21.2 Prerelease build from Creative Cloud Desktop App > All Apps > Pre-release tab? If you don't currently have access to the prerelease build, you can request it using the links below:

https://adobe.ly/3YPkTSB
https://adobe.ly/4py1CzT

That said, the specific document you shared could not be recovered successfully. At this point, the best option would be to rebuild the document using an earlier backup or recovered version, if one is available.

I understand how urgent and disruptive this is, and I'm really sorry we couldn't recover the file directly.

If you have another version of this document or a different file where you see the same behavior, please feel free to share it so we can continue investigating.

Abhishek
