I use CC Libraries for image management when I use InDesign. I've been experiencing an issue when I need to relink an image in the links panel I go to Links>select image with the missing link>Left Click> Relink CC Libraries and it takes me to the cc libraries window but my files lose organization and I am not able to search the name of the file. Does anyone have a solution or an explanation why it does this?

Hi @Magzzz28,
Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with relinking images in InDesign. I understand how frustrating it can be when files lose organization and you can't search for file names in CC Libraries.
Could you please let us know which version of InDesign and the operating system you're using? Also, is this issue occurring with just a single file or across all your InDesign files?
In the meantime, you might want to try organizing your assets directly in CC Libraries before relinking or check if restarting the application helps restore the search functionality. Additionally, clearing the InDesign preferences can sometimes resolve issues like this. You can do this by pressing and holding Shift + Ctrl + Alt (Windows) or Shift + Command + Option + Control (Mac) while launching InDesign. Reference: Set preferences in Adobe InDesign
Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance!
Thank you,
Abhishek Rao

Hi Abhishek,
I use the Essentials Classic version of InDesign. This has been a problem I have had for a while across multiple projects. I organize my library into sub categories but all organization is lost when i go to relink everything.
