Hello, Hopefully someone can help me,
im creating a book in indesign CC, but i want the page to be bound on the right hand side, as if reading a book back to front, or what a hebrew or arabic book may be like, I've already read up on this, that i might need a right to left script? (which i can't find anywhere online that works)
Any advice as to how i can get the book to print in this format?
thanks
i called Adobe tech support. It seems to have been a prefs and/or cache issue. After trashing them and reinstalling the program, the feature appeared.
Yay.

Have you considered downloading InDesign with Middle Eastern options so that it allows you to choose RTL binding.

Hi
No, I don't get that dialog. Is that CC2018? I have my CC language prefs set to English-Hebrew....which made me download a different version of InDesign. I assumed that what I have *is* the ME version. Is there yet another version?
best,
Kurt

Hi Steve,
the new New Document dialog cannot show the MENA features?

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to. I don't get what's up. Is it possible that even though I have 'English Hebrew' selected in my prefs that somehow i don't have the English Hebrew version? The type all seems to be behaving properly.

Hi,
Please uninstall the version of InDesign and then reinstall the English Hebrew version.

Hi kurth76115270 ,
unfortunately that's no proof.
Typesetting in Hebrew can also be done e.g. with my German version.
And I do not have the Binding options you would need.

Uwe

Do you have the Binding options with your legacy New Document dialog?
If not, I think, the Hebrew version did not merge with the English one.
