InDesign Share for review down

Is the Share for review feature down in InDesign? The program keeps crashing when I try to create a file and existing ones are no longer available to those I have shared with.

 

Using the new 2025 version, Windows 11

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble with the Share for Review feature.

Could you confirm a few details for me:

  • The exact build/version of Windows 11 you’re using.
  • Is this issue happening with all files or just specific ones?

I tested the feature on my end, and I can successfully create links for Share for Review. Could you try resetting your preferences and then testing the issue again? Here's the guide: Reset InDesign Preferences.

Update: If I copy the link from the InDesign project it works. If I copy the link from the review site it doesn't.

Not sure why the link is different

Hi @AFrack

 

 

This behavior is expected. The second link is an internal link that works only with your profile. To share with others for review, you’ll need to generate and share a public link from InDesign.
