InDesign small narrow text box placed into CC Library fills page top to bottom when inserted

Hi, I created a 7.5x.395 text box that I placed into CC Lib.
When I drop it into a new doc, it fills full page, like 7.5x8.6.

CC Library is not observing the text box size dimensions either when placed into CC Lib or inserted from.

Any ideas? This is a page header that is usually 1 line, but is set height-wise to accommodate 2 lines of text if needed.

Objects below it then need to butt right up to the bottom and so the spaced based upon that .395 height/use of space is important.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi @Kurfuffle ,

thanks for the screenshots.

Make sure that you add the text frame as graphic to your CC Library.

To do this:

[1] Select the original text frame

[2] In the library select the + icon and select graphic to add it.

If you only move the text frame to the library not the text frame is stored, but only the formatted text.

Hi @Kurfuffle ,

could you show a screenshot of the "original", the CC Libraries panel with the item plus a screenshot of the dropped item?

Thanks,
