Hello community!
I have a huge table that spreads over 40 pages in an InDesign file.

This morning after opening the file again, the table looks empty and uneditable.

However, if I right-click and do "Edit from copy Editor" I can see all the content.

Does anyone have an idea how to revert the table to the previous appearance?

Here is what I tried so far:
1. export imdl

2. export template file

3. Copy/paste the table onto other files

4. delete all the other spreads to see if display performance was causing the issue

Please help me guys!

It probably means that the row after the last part you can see is taller than the text frame which causes the story to become overset.

Hard to tell what's going on from your screen shots, but I'm thinking the entire table has somehow gone into overset text and the clue to that would be in the text immediately preceeding the table, or someting in the first cell.

I see a notice in the first screen shot of 21 errors. Have you looked at that?

Thank you so much, it was indeed that a picture that was copypasted inside the table was huge and caused the whole table to resize. I made the table big enough to make the image visible and deleted, voila.

Thank you! An oversized picture in the table was causing the issue.
